1.         Academy Membership + Member Benefits

Only fully registered members will participate in training and all upcoming events including matches as well as the busy CPL calendar (see below). If there are any members experiencing any issues and/or difficulties, please make sure to get in contact with Kuda Samunderu on 0710063839 or kuda@pinnaclese.org to arrange alternative solutions so that the kids do not miss out.

All registered members are encouraged to make full use of their complementary 1on1 Cricket Sessions as well as The Mental Skills Sessions which are vital for the holistic development of our young cricketers. The Mental Skills Sessions in particular, will set apart the top players and performers as well as transcend into their daily life in areas like their studies and social life. 

Academy Clothing & Caps that were ordered will be ready in early January. Those that ordered can pay on collection.

4 January – U11&12 CPL Teams Training and Clothing Hand-Over

7 January – U11&12 CPL Warm Up Matches VS The Sixers

                    Venue – Egdemead CC (Details to Follow)

8 January – CPL Teams Training

9 – 14 January – U11&12 CPL Tournament

15 January Onwards – Academy Teams Training and 1on1s Commence.

3.      CPL Teams, News & Results

Congratulations to the 13U & 15U teams that competed in the recently concluded tournament.

The 13U defending champion team just fell short of qualifying for the semi-finals.

The 15U team lost a closely contested semi-final against The Vikings after a superb run in the group stages.

Below are the confirmed dates for the remainder of the 2023/24 CPL Tournaments Cycle. The 10U tournament dates as well as The Senior Men’s Tournament dates will be confirmed early in the new year.

5.      Coaching Staff News

Congratulations to Coach Kuda who will is heading to Copenhagen, Denmark where he is taking up a post at Kjobenhavn BoldKlub (Head Coach) & Dansk Cricket-Forbund (National Cricket Development Officer). His tenure starts on the 2nd of January 2024. Coach Kuda will be spending intermittent periods in Copenhagen and Cape Town.

Kjobenhavn BoldKlub and The Patriots are in negotiation for a partnership which will see an exchange of players and coaches traveling to and from Cape Town & Copenhagen & Ireland to play in the CPL and The European Cricket Competitions respectively.

All the best to Coach Kuda. We look forward to exploring all the possibilities this partnership will bring forth.
